On September 14, 2024, the Streams of Hope team embarked on a meaningful journey to Panti Asuhan Kasih Agape, aiming to raise awareness about the crucial importance of clean water. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted by the warm embraces and radiant smiles of the children, whose enthusiasm set the stage for a truly unforgettable day.

To create a more intimate and impactful experience, our team focused solely on engaging with the children. We divided them into groups and led them through enjoyable and educational hands-on activities. The kids constructed simple water filters using plastic bottles, and their creativity flourished as they decorated their filters with paint. This activity was more than just assembling filters; it was about instilling a profound understanding of the value of clean water in a playful yet meaningful way.

Before concluding our visit, we shared snacks and breads with all the children. The event was further enriched by the participation of 11 dedicated student volunteers from across Surabaya, whose energy and commitment to our cause were truly inspiring.
